Studio 54 Feels…

I’m label lusting over Halston Heritage! It’s hands down one of my top 3 favourite fashion brands for glamorous evening wear mainly because I absolutely love dressing up; what’s better than a fitted little black dress with a twist on a Saturday night? Halston does this ‘twist’ perfectly with obscure necklines, one shoulder pieces and cut out details.

So what’s the history behind the House of Halston…? Founded in the 1960s, Halston Heritage came onto the fashion scene and took the industry completely by storm, using signature materials of cashmere, jersey and suede to brilliantly reinvent classics. The designer’s strong connection to 70’s pop culture is evident throughout each season’s glamorous collection utilising bold pops of colour (think oranges, purples, pinks) plus more subtle, classic additions with lots of LBDs with the ‘twist’ I mentioned earlier.

I love shopping for Halston treats on theoutnet.com…they stock the best collections at a fraction of the price. If you’re not familiar with The Outnet…get familiar! It’ll become your go-to for all things designer! My most recent purchase from the brand was a little black dress for a date night with my boyfriend (see pic below). I love the midi length, thick jersey fabric that hugs the body and the neckline! I also absolutely LOVE the asymmetric neckline (see pic below) which makes it a little different to standard LBDs!
