Of Kors you’re glam: how to nail day to evening style

It’s Summer…which obviously equals rosé o’clock from 4pm onwards. So how do you crack that all important day to evening style without looking overdressed or (my biggest fear…..) underdressed?

If you’re anything like me and dressing up is your idea of heaven, then the thought of jeans and a ‘dressy’ top can seem generic, boring and just not you. I’m a fan of a dress (trusty LBD bebs) and heels when I go out for dinner/drinks and always have been. Recently though, I’ve started to enjoy going against my fashion bible and mixing up my style with jeans and a top if I’m ever out from afternoon to evening. It’s the perfect mix of smart casual yet you can dress jeans up with the right accessories – focus on your shoes and bag.

I love love love ripped jeans and usually my go-to for these is Zara; they fit me perfectly and always have an amazing range of colours and styles. However, these Calvin Kleins (see pic below) caught my eye due to the Summery shade of blue and cropped ankle – perfect with strappy heels to glam up the look. They also have an amazing bronze zip at the ankle which automatically adds style. I paired these jeans with a 3.1 Phillip Lim cream silk camisole and my trusty Zara white blazer (the material of this blazer is amazing as it automatically dresses up a more casual outfit). To top off the ensemble, I added a pair of Michael Kors gold chain strappy sandals and my beaut of a Gucci tan leather bag (a naughty new Summer purchase).

It’s not about buying head to toe designer with this look at all; it’s all about the mix and how you style the look. Zara and Reiss are my go to on the high street and The Outnet is my go to for designer pieces at a fraction of the price. Chop and change your style of heels or add a clutch to dress the style up even more. Whatever your take on day to evening style, remember that of Kors you’re always glam….!
