Something miraculous happened recently. I discovered Aquazzura’s ‘Linda’ sandals.
I’m a big lover of luxury labels and can spend hours just browsing the internet looking at all the latest designer creations and ‘must-haves’. Net-a-porter and Selfridges are my sanctuary, my ‘religion’, the ying to my yang…
I tend to be drawn to the shoe section of all these sites. Designer shoes to me are another level; pair them with a Zara outfit and you’re good to go, non? I’ve always been a slave to Jimmy Choo. Until now. As I was casually browsing Net-a-porter’s shoe section the other day, my heart stopped. I stumbled upon the most dreamy evening shoes ever. And I need them. Now. Yes, it was Aquazzura’s ‘Linda’ shoe. (Slightly unimaginative name if you ask me, especially for an Italian brand?!).
I’m not sure about you but for me I love a strappy high sandal for evening looks. Especially in gold or black suede. Now these sandals tick all my boxes – high, strappy, gold and sexy. See below if you don’t believe me. #Obsessed
Edgardo Osorio, founder of Aquazzura, said “If the shoe fits, buy it in every colour”. Urm, I like your thinking Edgardo but we’re not living in Disney. I’ve got rent to pay, love. I can see how it would be a must to buy these shoes in every colour though if you’re a walking cash machine. These shoes would be the perfect pairing with little dresses for the festive season! Think New Year with a little black dress and clutch. I NEED.
So what’s the fuss about Aquazzura? Aquazzura is a florence-based luxury footwear brand with innovative, eye-catching designs and Edgardo is actually referred to as the ‘sandal saviour’ because he just knows what women want from their heels! Columbian born Edgardo worked for Salvatore Ferragamo and Roberto Cavalli before turning his expertise to the babe of a label, Aquazzura. Impressive, huh?
I’m definitely label lusting after these ‘Linda’ beauties for Christmas. I’ll pop them on my list and just hope that Santa thinks i’m worth it. If you’re keen to splash the cash before Christmas though, you can get them from Net-a-porter, here http://bit.ly/2dwOppC
